The album is made up of 12 tracks and was produced, in most part, by mega producer Bob Rock ( Metallica, Motley Crue, The Cult).

Shine A Light is another solid record that showcases Adams' undeniable ability of crafting both hook filled pop rockers and heartfelt power ballades.

Standouts on Shine A Light are the album opener, the AC/DC-esque All or Nothing, the touching ballade, Talk to Me and the cover of Whiskey in a Jar.
