With the latest release in the Bond franchise only two weeks away, we at Aroundtable have assembled our own must-watch /essential 007 movies to see in order to get you in the spirit of Bond.
Timothy Dalton takes over from Roger Moore as 007 in the 1987 James Bond film, The Living Daylights. The film was directed John Glen and showcased Dalton`s more cut and dry approach to the Bond character as opposed to the more tongue and cheek version that fans became accustomed to with Roger Moore.
Because Dalton`s two outings as James Bond were not embraced by fans, his "License to Kill" was revoked after the 1989 release with the same title. The Living Daylights is a decent film and Dalton’s take on Bond could be seen as the predecessor to Daniel Craig`s portrayal today.
